Bottega d’Arte Maselli sets its basis on a long artisan tradition. We start our high-quality artistic creations, beginning from the respect of wood carving rules.

Wood is the raw material for all products made by Maselli. We use all kinds of wood that are particularly recomended for hand manufacturing, using gouges, files and sandpaper. These woods are: poplar, lime, stone pine and jelutong.

The rough wood can be successively refinished with paints or with the ancient technique called “doratura a guazzo” (gouache gilding).

Every frame is unique. Therefore, we offer you the possibility to customize our products, taking inspiration from a drawing, a picture, or from our models.
